Home Clean Guide is funded by affiliate commission. This page explains what that means, where it applies, and what it does not change.
The short version
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. When you buy through some of the links on this site we may receive a commission, at no additional cost to you. You never pay more for having used our link.
Amazon Associates
Home Clean Guide is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Where we show an Amazon price or availability, it reflects the moment that data was last retrieved rather than the moment you are reading, and the figure on the retailer’s page at checkout is the one that counts.
Readers outside the United States
We write for readers across English speaking markets, but our Amazon links point to Amazon.com. If you are reading from outside the United States, the product may be sold in your market under a different model name, at a different price, or not at all, and international shipping can easily cost more than the product is worth. Buy from your local retailer when that is the better deal. We would rather lose a commission than have you pay to ship a vacuum across an ocean.
How affiliate links are marked
A disclosure appears above the first affiliate link in every article that contains one, not only here. Affiliate links carry the sponsored and nofollow attributes so search engines can identify them, and some pass through a redirect on our own domain before reaching the retailer, which lets us repair a broken link in one place instead of in every article that uses it.
What commission does not affect
Commission rates play no part in which products we recommend, in how they are ranked, or in the HCG Score. We do not accept payment for placement, for a score, or for a mention, we do not publish sponsored posts, and manufacturers do not see articles before publication. The criteria behind every score are on How We Review, and the rules we hold ourselves to are in our Editorial Policy.
Other affiliate programs
Where we join a program other than Amazon, links to that retailer are disclosed on the same terms as the ones above. Any relationship with a brand that goes beyond a standard affiliate program is disclosed in the article itself rather than on this page.
